ICYWW, "Who's this clown?"

My name is Cecil. I am a man person. I was born in CE 1984, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I grew up in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. I reside in Austin, TX, USA. (It’s fine.)

I like stuff and things. Software is one of them; specifically that which is produced in collaboration with others. I think a lot about how to make that collaboration more effective. After over 16 years of doing it professionally, I’ve learned some lessons, and developed some opinions. I hope to share coherent and concise versions of them here.

I hope that, by reading about the mistakes I’ve made–and seen others make–you can avoid them and go further, faster than I have. Than I will.
